I'm a writer

Carol-Ann Hoyte made her debut as a children’s poet in February, 2008. She has taken courses in writing children's poetry with U.S. children's poets Laura Purdie Salas and Heidi Bee Roemer. Carol-Ann's poetry has appeared in “Stories for Children Magazine” and is scheduled to appear in Real: The Canadian Kids’ Magazine (Fall 2010), The School Magazine (Australia), Sheree Fitch's book Breathe, Stretch, Write, and Shoofly: An Audiomagazine for Children. Her work has also appeared in Highlights for Children and YES! Magazine. Three more of her pieces are scheduled to be published in The Mailbox Magazine for teachers.
