Diana
Evans believes that her purpose in life is to use
her creativity, which has enabled her to leave something
behind that art lovers and children will enjoy for years
to come. This makes every day a new and wonderful journey.
Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, Diana learned about
art at an early age from her dad. He painted outdoor
scenes and welded sculptures in metal, and Diana found
herself following him around the garage and the backyard
while he created wonderful things.
In 2006, Diana focused on her art and writing
full time and completed her first manuscript, which she
is currently illustrating. In the meantime, she works
on fun projects for publishers and magazines. She has
been featured in several local papers. Her passion and
love of children's art has led her to regularly submit
work to children's literature magazines. Diana also donates
her work to help with various charities, and finds that
the more you give, the more you get.
