Jennette
Conners is an award-winning artist and published children's
book illustrator from the Niagara Region, Ontario. An
education as a graphic designer enhances her work as an
illustrator. Her background in illustration and fine arts,
in which she is self-taught, remains a strength and a
passion. Jennette also has a business management background.
This talented artist has diverse interests
and employs a range of media. Besides using the computer,
Jennette explores works in acrylics, watercolour, graphite,
and sculpture (particularly metal). She also does murals
and graphic design for her clients. She is willing to
take on any creative challenge, as it keeps her creativity
flowing. She constantly pushes herself outside her comfort
zone, trying new methods, subject matter, or media.
Portraits will always be a particular love
of Jennette’s. She takes pride in an ability to
draw out the magic and personality of the subject of each
of her portraits.
