Julie
Prescesky is a visual creature. Her educational history
is in Fine Arts (Nova Scotia College of Art and Design,
University of the Fraser Valley), but she has always been
an artist. At age three, Julie drew a bunny and won a
drawing contest in her very small countryside community.
That tickled her ego and set her heart ablaze. Forever
after, she has been shamelessly captivated by the pursuit
of art.
Julie loves working with her hands: creating,
shaping, constructing, and deconstructing—and she
is also incredibly practical, with a good head on her
shoulders. A “cup is half-full” kind of gal,
Julie finds humour to be her saviour.
Julie is proud to be part of the immensely
talented Canadian arts scene.
