This terrific book also takes a look at how being different is okay and shows that if we try hard enough, we’ll find similarities. Bruce hopes that her book will teach acceptance to young ones. "Being different shouldn’t cast us out. When someone or something is different from what we are used to, we should look at it as a fantastic opportunity to learn. We need to embrace that. I believe that is how we grow."
